Katie Francis, MSN, CPNP

Katie currently works as the Program Coordinator at the St. Louis Fetal Care Institute. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Missouri- Columbia in 1999, and master’s degree in nursing of children at Saint Louis University in 2008.
Katie has worked at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center since 1999, starting as a NICU nurse and then neonatal and pediatric transport nurse. In 2009, Katie started the St. Louis Fetal Care Institute (FCI) at Cardinal Glennon with an MFM and Pediatric/Fetal Surgeon. Katie has found her passion in fetal medicine, helping pregnant mothers during such a vulnerable time. She is proud to lead a dedicated team at the FCI. Katie was also the founding president of the Fetal Therapy Nurse Network and honored to collaborate with fetal care nurses from all over the world to improve care and increase research in this evolving field. After serving as president, Katie also served as the governance chair of the FTNN.
