Amy Powne MSN, RN, PCNS-BC

PRESIDENT

Amy currently works as the Nurse Practice Manager at the UC Davis Fetal Care and Treatment Center (FCTC) in Sacramento, California. She began her nursing career in 2005 in the PICU, eventually becoming their Clinical Nurse Specialist in 2012. In Fall 2016, she transitioned to the “Fetal World” starting the Fetal Center at UC Davis with Dr. Shinjiro Hirose. Over the past 7 years Amy has been working hard to build the FCTC practice, opening their physical clinic in Fall 2020 and adding nurse coordinators to their small but mighty team.

Amy has been very active in the FTNN since becoming involved in the world of fetal heath, serving as the Membership Chair from 2018-2020 and President Elect from 2021-2023. She is also in a love/hate relationship with the Research Committee working on her second project with them and still feeling lost most of the time Amy lives in Sacramento with her husband Andy and their 3 kids, Emmett (7yr), Millie (almost 6yr) and Scarlett (almost 2yr).
